Fee Refund Policy
Fee Refund Policy of Dr. Vithalrao Vikhe Patil Foundation’s College of Physiotherapy and Hospital, Ahilyanagar, is framed in accordance with the guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC), Maharashtra state Occupational and Physiotherapy Council, Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Maharashtra Act 2025 and other applicable Government regulations.
1. Refund of Fees
Refund of fees shall be processed upon written application for cancellation of admission.
Fee refund shall be governed by the timelines and percentage of refund prescribed by UGC and the competent admission authority from time to time.
Undergraduate students who have received Government Scholarship benefits during their course are required to successfully complete the prescribed one-year service bond in Government Health Services.
A processing charge, as permitted under applicable regulations, may be deducted.
2. Courses
For BPTh/MPTh, and other medical courses, refund shall also be subject to the rules of OTPT council, State CET Cell, MUHS, and Government authorities, wherever applicable.
Any penalties, bond conditions, or seat forfeiture rules prescribed by the competent authority shall apply.
3. Hostel and Other Charges
Hostel, mess, caution deposit, and other refundable charges shall be refunded after adjustment of dues, damages, or actual utilization, as applicable.
4. Refund Process
Students shall submit a cancellation request along with fee receipts and bank account details.
Eligible refunds shall normally be processed within 30 working days after completion of necessary formalities.
5. Security Deposit Refund
The security deposit shall be refunded to the student after completion of the course and fulfillment of all institutional obligations, subject to submission of a refund application, clearance from all concerned departments, and return of any College property or documents, if applicable.
6. Amendments
The College reserves the right to revise this policy in accordance with amendments issued by UGC, NMC, MUHS, Government of Maharashtra, or other competent authorities. The latest regulatory guidelines shall prevail.
